About Wildwood Camper Vans
Wildwood Camper Vans is an owner-operated custom conversion shop in South San Francisco, run by Nathan Price. The shop works across an unusually wide range of platforms — Sprinter, ProMaster, Transit, and Ford Econoline — with each build designed around the client's specific needs and budget. There are no pre-set packages; every conversion is a one-off. Price built his first van after hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada and grew up doing woodworking with his father. The shop handles full conversions as well as partial work including standalone electrical installs (Victron-based systems), window installations, Webasto heaters, and roof rack builds with solar and Starlink integration. Off-grid electrical systems are a strength, with builds running up to 1,000 watts of solar and 800Ah lithium banks. Pricing is quote-based and not published. Build timelines have been reported by customers at approximately four weeks for some projects. The shop is open Monday through Friday.
