Automotive Designs & Fabrication (ADF Sprinters) is a family-owned Mercedes Sprinter conversion shop in Simi Valley, California, operating since 1988. The company started with performance and off-road vehicle modifications, transitioned through limousine and luxury transport builds, and now focuses primarily on Sprinter conversions — campervans, commercial vehicles, mobile offices, and adaptive mobility builds. ADF holds Mercedes-Benz Master Upfitter certification and has completed over 1,000 van conversions, producing approximately 150 custom campervans per year from their 20,000-square-foot facility. Every build is fully custom with no prefab packages. The shop operates dedicated steel, aluminum, upholstery, and wood fabrication stations in-house, and has developed proprietary features including the TriMax Bed, which folds flat against the wall to maximize interior space. Their adaptive vehicle division, building wheelchair-accessible and mobility-equipped Sprinters, is an uncommon offering in the California conversion market. ADF also works on the Mercedes Metris platform alongside the Sprinter.
